Electrification of residential and commercial buildings
Households and businesses must buy full-electrical new products to replace old ones.
Electrical heating for housing or commercial buildings must replace old furnaces, stoves, and water boilers. They must be installed with new buildings, or replaced by revamping existing buildings.
Most other devices (e.g., air conditioning, coffee maker…) already run on electricity, with few exceptions to convert to electricity (e.g., chainsaw…).
Insulation must improve for walls and windows. Other electrical devices can be replaced with low-energy LED bulbs, time-controlled power-off…
Energy-efficient standards for housing and offices could be enforced by:
-Mandated installation, especially on new buildings.
-Tax incentives in case of installation.
