Is bank-bashing justified?
Conspiracy theories target the financial system, especially the banks. Taxation is not the solution
With the gap between rich and poor widening, and with the massive government deficit, some taxation may help. However, do not succumb to the temptation of the “taxation solution”.
Not so fast with government-managed projects
Green energy project? Massive “investment” in education? Not so fast. The government can’t do much… only within the budgets financed by taxation, which shouldn’t burden the people. There are sound reasons to explain this.
Other obvious solutions blocked by the rich?
It’s easy to think that the government should simply enforce the will of the people, by a simple majority. It can quickly slide into abusive rules against minorities and individuals. Thus, the government becomes a dictatorship to enforce these rules.
