Fix the housing market

To help the collapsing housing market, the Fed implemented a bold strategy to lower long-term interest rates. The goal was to incentivize the purchase of houses with cheaper interest rates over loans, as well as to help home owner to refinance their mortgage at a cheaper interest rate.

Banks are reluctant to loan again. They want candidate loaners to present bulletproof prerequisites before obtaining a loan. Economists are asking for rules to be softened.
