Markets to scale up and save the day?
Some hope that markets will scale up, drop prices, sell more, scale up even more, and finally create a virtuous circle that would undercut rapidly fossil fuels. After all, wind and solar energies are virtually endless and free.
The same people remind how cars in the 1920s, cell phones in the 2000s, and other technologies spread out within a decade to replace older technologies.
Will it happen with clean technologies, with batteries or nuclear technologies, and despite the growing inequalities infuriating the low-income middle class unwilling to cooperate?
